Malaysia's External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) provides and supports trade promotional services for Malaysian products. The Malaysia Export Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur is a purpose built 3,000 sqm facility to display “Made in Malaysia” products. To facilitate the needs of foreign buyers and international delegations who want to view and inspect products on permanent display before making purchase decisions, custom-made showcases and thematic promotional displays were designed and installed. A modular display system allows variation of product display style so the products are shown in unique self-explanatory settings, divided into three: Indoor, Outdoor and Lifestyle.

The designers chose an illuminated, custom-designed, dark brown and black, circular framework that extends over the displays. Graphic and poster panels, plywood laminate furniture, wallpaper, tiles, timber laminate frames, emulsion paints and stainless steel, completed a cohesive design and an impressive, elegant and stylish display.

The effective and outstanding design emphasises and differentiates the featured products which reflect the board rang of goods manufactured in Malaysia.
