IDEX 2009

Abu Dhabi

IDEX is a much anticipated event that is held biannually since its inception in 1993 and to date it is the biggest defence show in the world. IDEX 2009 was held in the newly expanded Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and was a 4 days event from the 22nd-26th February 2009. IDEX 2009 welcomed over 900 local and international companies from 70 countries with over 40 pavilions displaying latest land, sea and air defence systems.

The sheer size of IDEX 2009 speaks volumes about PICO's capability as the event occupied all of ADNEC's 55,000 square meters. PICO was appointed under the Secretariat of Defence of Turkey, to build a national pavilion that houses a number of its leading defence company's booths such as Electroland, Target Group, Yakupoglu, ACS, Girsan, Genet, Atel and Milsoft Technology Centre. IDEX 2009 proved that PICO is the specialist expert, whether on national or international level.
