Malaysia Flora Fest Float Parade 2008

For the very first time in the history, Flora Fest was held on Danga Bay, Johor Bahru. Cooling breeze with essence of the flowers enhanced the excitement of flora fest 2008. On the 26 July 2008 the Float Parade starts from Dataran Bandaraya to Danga Bay, Johor Bahru with the attendance of Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, TUANKU MIZAN ZAINAL ABIDIN IBNI AL-MARHUM SULTAN MAHMUD and also our prime minister- Yang bahagia Dato' Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi.

Pico Kuala Lumpur had given the opportunity by Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur to design and to construct a very unique float to deliver important message from DBKL. The theme of this float is "Living Sea in harmony". The message that wants to deliver was with the co-operation between all the division in DBKL, DBKL are able to provide a harmony environment for all the citizen.

About 70,000 stalks of 35 different Flower were used and decorated on the entire float. DBKL float had been awarded 2nd place winner.
